If you were originally PWR!Moves certified as an Exercise Instructor in 2022 - now’s the time to recertify! Our brand-new Instructor recertification workshop will keep you PWR!Moves certified for another three years.

Strategies and Tools for Improving Common Gait Challenges Across Disease Severity in Parkinson Disease:

This recertification workshop is designed to advance your knowledge when exercising with your group class participants or individual clients who are experiencing gait challenges that can increase fall risk. Learn to apply constructs from the PWR!Moves “Retrain and Sustain Physical Activity” framework to improve walking, safety, and other gait challenges in 1:1 or group fitness activities and environments.

This workshop has been built to align with the Parkinson's Foundation exercise recommendations. These recommendations were created to ensure that people with Parkinson’s are receiving the safe and effective exercise programs and instruction they need to optimize the benefit. Eligibility:

All who have completed a PWR!Moves Instructor Certification Workshop in 2022 or later. See our FAQ for more information.

If you were certified in our previous iteration of the Instructor workshop prior to 2022, you must take our current Parkinson's Foundation accredited Exercise Instructor Workshop to maintain your PWR!Moves Certification for another three years.

certified in 2022 or later.

If you were certified prior to 2022 and did not recertify, you must take the Instructor Workshop to maintain your PWR!Moves Certification for another three years.
