Julie Ridgeway focuses on improving patient’s function in their daily lives by stressing the importance of overall wellness, prevention, and patient education. She is from Maryland and here she earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at University of Maryland. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, FL where she was first exposed to Parkinson"s Disease and benefits physical therapy could offer this population. Her continuing education had included manual therapy, Vestibular therapy, Concussion training, and certification in working with patients with Parkinson’s disease in the LSVT BIG and PWR!Moves programs.
