DeAnna graduated from McMaster University in 2008 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy, and from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has experience in a broad range of physiotherapy practice, with a special interest in helping seniors and those with neurological conditions. She has taken many courses in treating stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and brain injury. She is also a teacher and received her Provincial Instructor"s Diploma from Vancouver Community College in 2021. Her non-physiotherapy related interests include cooking, singing, gardening, and acting.
