About you
Carol was born and raised in Montreal, Québec. She has completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of British Columbia and her Masters of Physical Therapy from McGill University provided in extension at the University of Québec in Chicoutimi.
Carol worked as a Kinesiologist for Neuromotion Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for three years. She now treats children and adults with conditions including but not limited to stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and acquired brain injury. Prior to taking the PWR!Moves Certified Therapist certification, she has completed her certification in Changing Parkinson"s Exercise as a Primary Treatment and Allied Team Training for Parkinson"s Disease. This experience allowed her to teach boxing for Parkinson’s. She believes in the importance to work with a client-centered model and helping clients achieve their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Carol loves exploring the mountains, running the seawall, yoga and baking.
Carol is also fluent in French
