Ali is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who has been caring for residents and patients at St. Paul"s Elder Services for the past 12 years. She graduated from NWTC with an associate"s degree in Applied Science/Physical Therapy Assistant. With a constant desire to continue her education, she trained in the BIG and Loud program and is also certified in Parkinson"s Wellness Recovery (PWR!). Prior to the time she has spent at St. Paul"s, she previously worked at "Recovery Inn", a recovery facility
dedicated to superior care for joint replacement rehabilitation. A naturally caring person, Ali knew her career path would guide her somewhere towards the medical field. Her time as a CNA helped her develop a deep affinity with geriatric patients. Her passion for the community, combined with her knowledge and clinical skills
sparked the idea to start a Parkinson Exercise Group at St. Paul"s. Outside of work, Ali enjoys spending her weekends up north at the cottage. If she"s not there, she can be found spending time with her husband Mike enjoying many activities including; running, biking, swimming, and hiking. Her non-fitness interests include going
to concerts and festivals, flee markets, and just enjoying life.
