Farewell Hannah

Farewell Hanna Kleinbart

On July 26th the PWR!Gym said goodbye to Hannah Kleinbart. She is leaving to spend a year in Madrid, Spain. It is hard to believe that she has been with us a year. Hannah came to the PWR!Gym initially as an intern from the University of Arizona, School Of Public Health. She came on board to assist with the coordination and implementation of our monthly Wellness Series. Because of her interest in exercise, she had an additional goal of being able to teach group exercise classes. The plan last August was that she would spend a semester at the PWR!Gym and then move onto another internship. In her first 4 months, Hannah put together the 2019 Wellness Series, attended a PWR!Moves Certified Instructor Workshop and began teaching PWR!Moves classes. In addition, she organized a holiday party for all of our members. It was a huge success with games, songs and fun. The experience was so positive she decided to stay on for her last semester. She came, she excelled and she stayed! Upon graduation in May, Hannah came on board as a staff person. She has been invaluable in keeping our front office up and running this summer.

When asked what have been the highlights of her time at PWR!, her response was, “Getting to teach my first exercise class ever and learning so much about Parkinson disease”. We will miss her smiling face and willingness to step in to help wherever needed. Good luck Hannah! We wish you all the best and know your future is bright!
