Nick Fazio is a Certified Parkinson’s Wellness and Recovery Instructor (PWR!Moves) specializing in exercise programs for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. With over 20 years of experience as a fitness professional on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and beyond, Nick uses his expertise to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life for his clients. He integrates movement-based therapies, including boxing, to enhance coordination, balance, and functional independence in individuals managing Parkinson’s disease.
Nick’s personalized approach extends to clients with diverse needs, including those recovering from cancer treatment, post-rehabilitation clients, and individuals looking to manage weight or reduce risks associated with aging and sedentary lifestyles. His experience collaborating with medical and wellness professionals ensures that his fitness programs are evidence-based and tailored to each client’s unique health goals.
Nick has worked with renowned organizations such as the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and the Mount Sinai Department of Endocrinology. His commitment to preventive and rehabilitative health is reflected in his focus on strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular wellness. He also prepares and delivers presentations on the benefits of exercise for specific populations, including those living with chronic conditions.
Nick holds an M.S. from CUNY Hunter and certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS and CPT).
