Katrina J. Banks, PT ,DPT, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy

Katrina J.Banks is a licensed Physical Therapist born and raised in Springfield, MA. She is the owner and lead Physical Therapist of Neurologic Optimal Wellness Physical Therapy, LLC a Neuro Outpatient clinic serving individuals primarily with Parkinson"s Disease, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and Vestibular/Balance disorders. As a clinician for the past 12 years, she has become very passionate about working with clients with neurological disorders. She gained her experience working in the Acute Care hospital setting, inpatient acute rehabilitation units, home health, and outpatient centers. She has has the pleasure of being a traveling physical therapist for 5 years and learning from many of her colleagues she met along the way. She is a lifelong learner and became a Certified Clinical Instructor for physical therapy students in (2016), a certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (2016), certified in LSVT-BIG Parkinson’s disease (2017), Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (2020), and currently, a Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!Moves) Certified Therapist (2021). She strives to provide quality 1:1 Physical Therapy sessions with the goal of restoring movement, improving function, and slowing down neurologic decline!
