Ash earned a Bachelor"s Degree in Neuroscience at Colorado College in Colorado Springs then went on to become a research fellow at the National Institutes of Neurologic Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Maryland, where she studied MRI imaging of acute stroke. She attended the University of Iowa and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2013. She has focused her physical therapy career on adult neurologic rehab, working in multiple settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient neuro and vestibular rehab. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy as well as the Texas Physical Therapy Association. She is also a Board-Certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy (NCS).
