Paula Shulthiess earned her DPT from University of Central Florida and is now employed at Lee Health at Outpatient Rehab at Cape Coral Hospital. She treats many different neurological and orthopedic diagnoses in the outpatient setting. She serves on the Vestibular rehab team and the Parkinson’s rehab team for Lee Health.
Paula has a passion for serving in the physical therapy profession and is the current Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) FPT-PAC Chair, FPTA SW District Chair, FPTA Assembly Representative, and Delegate to the American Physical Therapy Associati0n (APTA) House of Delegates. As a member of the FPTA Membership Committee, she acts as a liaison to the Student SIG. She is developing her research on low back injuries among female gymnasts as well as adapted tango for people with Parkinson’s disease. Paula is passionate about advocacy, research, life-long learning, and the physical therapy profession.
