Lori earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa in 1985. She attended Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, now named Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She graduated with her bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in 1987. Now, after nearly 30 years of practicing in-patient acute care and neuro rehabilitation, out-patient physical therapy, and owning her own private practice, she currently works in the home healthcare field. It is in this most recent setting where she has increasingly come into contact with those living with the challenges of Parkinson’s Disease. In an effort to better understand the disease and best practice therapies, Lori attended the 2016 World Parkinson’s Conference, in Portland, OR. There she was introduced to PWR!, and was soon certified as a PWR! Therapist in October, 2016. She is now excited to offer PWR! Classes in the Modesto area.
